KVS Admission 2022: First Merit List for Class 1 Out! Second List to be Released on This Date

For the academic year 2022-23, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released the first merit list for admission to Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1. Interested students and their parents should visit the Kendriya Vidyalaya's official website, kvsangathan.nic.in, for the most up-to-date information and the merit list.

The Member of Parliament quota for admissions to Kendriya Vidyalayas has been removed by the Indian government.

On 6 May, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will announce the second merit list, and on 10 May, the third merit list for KVS Class 1 admission 2022 will be released.

The announcement of a provisional selection list of candidates for unreserved seats, if any, will be done between 6 and 17 May, according to the official notification. The deadline for KVS admissions to all classes in 2022, except Class 11, is June 30.

KVS Admission 2022: How to Check Result

  • Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to check the merit list for class 1:

  • Visit the official website of KVS at kvsangathan.nic.in

  • Click the "KVS Admissions 2022 First Merit list" link on the homepage.

  • Choose your state and branch of the Kendriya Vidyalaya.

  • The merit list for KVS Class 1 admission will be displayed on the screen.

  • Check out the list and download it for later use.

KVS Admission 2022: Required Documents

  • In the form of a birth certificate, a certificate of proof of age is required.

  • Proof of Residence

  • A retirement certificate for uniformed defense employees.

  • Proof of a relationship between either of the child's parents and a member of Parliament or a PSU employee is required for grandchildren of members of Parliament and PSU employees.

  • Proof of relationship of either of the child's parents with the KVS employee is required for grandchildren of KVS employees.

  • If applicable, a certificate of caste

  • Certificates for Persons with Disabilities, if applicable
