KVS Admission 2021: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has extended the admission procedure for Class 1 and other classes.
To recall, admission process for Class 1 was supposed to end on 23 April 2021, but now it has been extended beyond 30 April. KVS admission 2021 will start when the situation improves.
In a notification, KVS said, “The declaration of Class 1 admission to be done after 30 April (instead of 23 April 2021), depending on the situation”.
KVS Class 1 Admission List and Waiting List
It further told that the admission lists as well as waiting lists for KVS Class 1 would be released later. The admission dates have been postponed due to unprecedented increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the country.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has also cancelled Class 9 entrance exam and said that the admissions would be done on the basis of ‘priority category’.
The KVS admission notification said, “Class 9 admission to be done on the basis of priority category and admission test will not be held for admission in Class 9”.
Moreover, it has deferred the timetable to display the admission lists for Classes II to IX. The Deputy Commissioners (DC) have been told to decide on display of the admission lists depending on the requirements of their respective states.
Previously, KVS had allowed its teachers to conduct online classes from home in view if the 2nd wave of Coronavirus pandemic.
