Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Sitamarhi, which is funded by the ICAR and managed by Samta Seva Kendra is currently inviting applications from eligible candidates for Subject Matter Specialist posts in different subjects. Subject Matter Specialist – Agricultural Extension – Candidates must have Master’s degree in Agricultural Extension / Agricultural Extension & Communication /Agricultural Extension Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized College or University.
Salary - (Rs.15,600-39,100), GP- Rs.5400- Pay Level 10 ( as per 7th CPC)
Subject Matter Specialist - Home Science – Applicants must have completed M. Sc. in any branch of Home Science or equivalent qualification from a reputed University with four years bachelor degree in Home Science.
Salary - (Rs.15,600-39,100), GP- Rs.5400- Pay Level 10 ( as per 7th CPC)
Subject Matter Specialist – Plant Protection - Must have Master’s degree in any branch of Plant Protection / equivalent qualification from a reputed University.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra Recruitment 2022: How to apply
Candidates will have to send the duly signed application in the prescribed proforma along with self – attested copies of certificates like proof of date of birth, & educational certificate etc. to - The Secretary, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sitamarhi, Vill & Post: Balha Madhusudan, Via: Janakpur Road Pupri, Sitamarhi. Bihar - 843320. The envelop should be superscripted as “Application for the post of ……………”

Points to remember before applying
The application must be submitted strictly as per the given format neatly typed along with recent passport photograph.
KVK has the authority to fix the criteria for screening the applications to reduce the number of candidates to be called for personal interview.
The self-attested copies of the certificate regarding age, educational qualification, experience etc. must be submitted along with the applications.
Applications received late or incomplete will not be accepted. Canvassing in any form would disqualify the candidate for the post applied for.
