Krishi Jagran will be organizing and hosting the ‘Krishi Sanyantra’ Mela from 25th to 27th March 2023. The event will be held at Karuda Ground in Balasore, Odisha. The theme of this grand event has been kept as “Explore the Unexplored: Affluent Agri-Odisha.”
The much-awaited mela in Odisha will be attended by the Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar, the Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy, Parshottam Rupala, and Pratap Chandra Sarangi, a former Union Minister of State for MSME & FAHD and Member of Parliament from Balasore.

This will no doubt support our farmers to a great extent to double their incomes, a dream of our Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar. With the theme of the event - "Explore the Unexplored Agri Odisha", Krishi Jagran is bringing together Agri stakeholders in this event for encouraging and promoting agricultural growth in Odisha state,” said Pratap Chandra Sarangi, speaking about the upcoming Mela.

“Many agriculture scientists, dealers & distributors, and associations will be participating in the mela which will help Odisha become self-reliant in the field of agriculture. Even today, we depend on our neighbors for oil seeds, fruits, vegetables, fish meat, and egg, but now we have to shift towards making Odisha self-sufficient, one district at a time,” said Sarangi.
The mela will also hold a number of seminars and workshops, business displays, farmer felicitations, cultural evenings, and other events in addition to the show. Farmers will be able to meet with specialists at these events and learn about the newest agricultural techniques.
Expected to bring in a large group of people from the agriculture and allied sector, this Krishi Sanyantra Mela 2023 is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for farmers and workers to learn about the various new developments in the agriculture sector. Moreover, it will also provide a platform for networking with industry professionals.
