The 'MFOI, VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra,’ in partnership with STIHL, is making significant progress in Gujarat, particularly in Baman village, Vadodara. Vijay Singh, Progressive farmer & Sarpanch along with Sankalp Patel and Hiren Patel, Officer of Agriculture Horticulture (Horticulture Crops) Department engaged in the discussion with the team. During the Yatra, farmers were provided with complete information about the VVIF initiatives, and MFOI Awards, sponsored by Mahindra Tractors.
The Kisan Bharat Yatra received a warm welcome in Baman Village, Karjan Taluka of Vadodara, from Sankalpbhai Patel and Hirenbhai Patel, officers of the Agriculture Horticulture Department, along with progressive farmer and Village Sarpanch, Vijay Singh. Sankalpbhai Patel and Hirenbhai Patel addressed the farmers, advising them on best practices for planting horticultural crops.
During the discussion, they highlighted key considerations that can help farmers achieve high crop yields with minimal investment, thereby, increasing their income and gaining recognition as progressive farmers. Additionally, the farmers had the opportunity to discuss their issues with the officials, who provided practical solutions, allowing the farmers to return home with valuable insights and answers. Following this, the Krishi Jagran team also visited the banana farm of Dhirendra Desai, a progressive farmer who shared his experience in banana cultivation and innovative agricultural practices.

In each village visited the Krishi Jagran team has engaged with local farmers, spreading awareness about the MFOI Awards and presenting certificates of appreciation to progressive farmers.
The Yatra has received overwhelming support from the community, with notable individuals like Hiren Bhai Patel, Alpesh Bhai Patel, and Parvin Bhai Gohil, Sarpanch Vijay Singh, Gajesh Bhai (Pramukh, Valia Taluka- Kisan Sangh Gujarat), Bhupendra Bhai, Kumud Chaudhry, Bhagu Bhai Chaudhary, Jitendra Bhai Chaudhary, among others, lending their support.
