Every year on April 4th, International Carrot Day, also known as Carrot Day, is the pinnacle for carrot enthusiasts all over the world. It is a day when carrots are honored with carrot parties and other carrot-related events. Carrot Day was founded in 2003 to raise awareness of carrots and their health benefits around the world.
The day is becoming increasingly popular, with celebrations reported in France, Italy, Sweden, Russia, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Japan on April 4th, 2012.
Carrot, like any other vegetable, is important to everyone; however, for the farmers who cultivate carrots with their hard work and time, it takes a whole new meaning.
And Krishi Jagran is all set to celebrate this day with enthusiasm.
