At the conclusion of VAIGA 2023, organized by the Kerala Government Agriculture Department, VAIGA media awards were given out in Thiruvananthapuram, wherein agri media house Krishi Jagran received the 'Best Online Media for Reporting' award.
On February 25, the Department of Agriculture officially opened the 'VAIGA 2023' agricultural expo, which aims to show farmers and the general public the newest agricultural practices. The fair seeks to advance the value-added chain in the agricultural industry. Newspapers 'Mathrubhumi' and 'Janayugom' received awards for VAIGA 2023's finest publicity.
Kerala Kaumudi reporter KS Sujilal was selected as the best newspaper reporter. Media One channel was selected as the best visual media and Club 94.3 as the best FM channel.

By using the potential of the state's agricultural products processing, value addition, and distribution sectors, the state's department of agriculture has launched the 'VAIGA' program to guarantee better income for farmers and draw public entrepreneurs to the agricultural sector.
