To celebrate and support such transformative efforts, Krishi Jagran hosted the curtain raiser ceremony of its pioneering initiative—AMI Awards 2025: Agri Machinery Innovation Conclave & Awards—today, May 5, 2025 at KJ Chaupal, New Delhi. The conclave promises to bridge the gap between lab-to-land innovations and the everyday needs of farmers.

AMI Awards 2025 is organized by Krishi Jagran, with ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) as the Knowledge Partner, and ISAE (Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers), TMA (Tractor Manufacturers Association), and TMAI (Tiller Manufacturers Association of India) as supporting partners. This bold initiative is set to honor both cutting-edge innovation and grassroots ingenuity.
Dr. S.N. Jha, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Engineering) at ICAR and President of ISAE, unveiled the official trophy of AMI Awards 2025. He also announced the conclave and awards scheduled for September 19, 2025, and emphasized the crucial role of mechanization in transforming Indian agriculture. Additionally, he commended Krishi Jagran for spearheading this transformative initiative.
The curtain raiser event witnessed the gracious presence of several distinguished guests, jury members, and industry leaders, who added immense value through their insights and expertise. Among them were Dr. P.K. Sahoo, Head of Agricultural Engineering at IARI; Dr. Pitam Chandra, Former Director of CIAE; and Ashok Anantharaman, Former COO of ACE Tractors, Dr. Nutan Kaushik, Director General of the Amity Food and Agriculture Foundation; Shankar Goenka, Managing Director of Krishi Viman Drones; and Dr. Sushma Sudhishri, Technical Expert at NRAA, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Corporate representatives included Lalit Kharbanda, GM & CMO at AIC; Kunal Vaishnavi, DGM at Sonalika Tractors; Vinita Pranay Joshi, GM at AIC; and Udaybhan Singh, Manager of Tractor & Farm Equipment Business at IndusInd Bank, M.C. Dominic, Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Krishi Jagran; Shiny Dominic, Managing Director of Krishi Jagran; and Mamta Jain, Group Editor & CEO of Krishi Jagran.
