According to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is attempting to improve the lives of the daughters of the poor and laborers in the state by wedding them.
In the last five years, he said, the Labor Welfare Council's Jyotiba Phule Shramik Kanyadan Yojana has been a blessing for poor daughters.
"Under the initiative, 769 workers' daughters have been married thus far." By having a happy and married life, happiness has extended across the households of poor girls. "The government has provided impoverished families a gift of Rs 1.44 crores to get married," Adityanath stated.
According to Adityanath, the state government is always performing unprecedented efforts for the poor and laborer of the Uttar Pradesh government.
"The Yogi government is concerned about marrying off the girls of financially deprived families. The Jyotiba Phule Shramik Kanyadan Yojana was established to help with this. "A gift of Rs 51,000 was given to underprivileged daughters to help them marry," he stated.
"With the government's financial assistance, labor families no longer have to take out loans to have their daughters married," he added. The government is assisting in the fulfillment of its responsibilities."
In 2017-2018, the Yogi government gave Rs 36 lakh to 240 beneficiaries, Rs 24.60 lakh to 164 beneficiaries in 2018-19, Rs 23.10 lakh to 154 beneficiaries in 2019-20, Rs 11.10 lakh to 74 beneficiaries in 2020-21, and Rs 50 lakh to 137 beneficiaries in 2021-22.
The government's goal is to treat the poor with dignity and improve their living conditions. In addition, by assisting them financially, they must resolve their problems.
