The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 2023 has announced its first online test results. The results are available on the official website, jlpt.jp. Candidates can view their results from 10 AM on August 21, 2023, to 5 PM on October 31, 2023 (Japan Time).

The JLPT is conducted twice every year. In 2023, it was first conducted on Sunday, July 2, 2023, and the second test will be held on December 3, 2023, Sunday. The JLPT will be held worldwide to evaluate and certify proficiency in Japanese of non-native speakers.
This test is jointly conducted by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. Outside Japan, the Japan Foundation manages the test in cooperation with local institutions.

JLPT July 2023: Determination of Pass or Fail
Test results are given according to scoring sections in 5 levels. These are N1, N2, N3, N4, and N5, where ‘N’ stands for Japanese.
