JKBOSE Class 10 Result 2025 Out: Check Your Scores, Toppers List, and Subject-Wise Performance Here

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially declared the Class 10 board examination results for the year 2025. Students can check and download their results from the official website.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially declared the results for the Class 10 board examinations for the year 2025. The results are now available on the official websites of the board – jkbose.nic.in and jkresults.nic.in

This year, a total of 1,45,671 students appeared for the Class 10 exams across the Union Territory. Out of these, 1,16,453 students successfully passed the examinations. This brings the overall pass percentage to 79.94%, which is considered a good improvement compared to previous years.

Girls Perform Better Than Boys

A closer look at the data shows that girls have performed better than boys in the exams. A total of 70,244 girls appeared for the exams, and 57,063 of them passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 81.24%. On the other hand, 75,427 boys appeared for the exams, and 59,390 passed, with a pass percentage of 78.74%.

This performance clearly shows that girls continue to do better academically, maintaining the trend from previous years.

Private Schools Outperform Government Schools

The results also reveal a significant difference in performance between private and government schools. Students from private schools have done remarkably well with a pass percentage of 91.83%. Out of 48,993 private school students, 44,988 passed.

In comparison, government schools had 97,143 students appear for the exams, of which 70,828 passed, giving a pass percentage of 72.91%. This gap in performance highlights the need for further improvement in infrastructure and teaching quality in government-run schools.

Top Performers of the Year

Several students have emerged as top performers in the 2025 Class 10 board exams. Among them, Tabinda Jan and Aayat Eshan, both from the Kashmir Valley, scored 498 marks out of 500, which is 99.6%.

Other students who scored exceptionally high include Maliha Sareer, Sehreen Zahoor, Ayat Nisar, Raja Ibrahim Mohd Khan, and Rubta Mukhtar, all of whom secured 497 marks (99.4%).

Moreover, 27 students, including names like Arbeena Bashir, Arsha Ashraf, Lumat Aijaz, and Aayat Jee, scored 496 marks (99.2%). This year’s toppers have shown an excellent level of preparation and performance.

Subject-wise Pass Percentage

This year’s subject-wise pass percentages indicate strong performances across the board:

  1. English: 83% pass rate

  2. Mathematics: 88% pass rate

  3. Hindi: 96% pass rate

  4. Urdu: 91% pass rate

  5. Science: 87% pass rate

  6. Social Studies: 92% pass rate

These numbers reflect the hard work of both students and teachers in preparing for the board exams.

Grade Distribution Among Students

The distribution of grades among students is as follows:

  1. Grade A1 (Excellent): 14,115 students

  2. Grade A2: 17,471 students

  3. Grade B1: 23,365 students

  4. Grade B2: 29,117 students

  5. Grade C1: 25,467 students

  6. Grade C2: 6,269 students

  7. Grade D (Minimum passing grade): 45 students

The large number of students scoring in higher grades shows an overall improvement in academic standards.

Steps to Check the Result

Students can follow these simple steps to check their Class 10 results online:

  1. Visit the official website:https://jkbose.nic.in/ or https://jkresults.nic.in/

  2. Click on the link for “JKBOSE Class 10th Result 2025”

  3. Enter your roll number and registration number

  4. Click on the submit button

  5. Your result will appear on the screen

  6. Download the marksheet and take a printout for future reference

In case students do not have access to the internet, JKBOSE has made arrangements to provide soft copies of the result gazettes at the nearest board offices. This ensures that all students can check their results without difficulty.

DigiLocker Facility Available

Apart from the official websites, students can also access their marksheets using the DigiLocker platform. Students just need to register with their basic details like roll number and date of birth. Once registered, they can download the digital version of their marksheet.

To pass the Class 10 JKBOSE exam, students are required to secure at least 33% marks in each subject and an overall average of 33% across five compulsory subjects.

The Chairperson of JKBOSE, Prof. (Dr.) Parikshat Singh Manhas, congratulated all successful candidates and appreciated the efforts of teachers and administrative staff. He said that the board is committed to maintaining high academic standards and will continue to support students in their learning journey.

Now that the results are out, students who have passed can start preparing for admission to Class 11. They should decide on the stream they wish to choose- Science, Commerce, or Arts based on their interest and performance. For those who did not pass, JKBOSE will provide information about the re-evaluation process and supplementary exams in the coming days.
