JEECUP Counselling 2025 Round 2 Begins at jeecup.admissions.nic.in; Check Schedule, Eligibility and Choice Filling Steps

JEECUP Counselling 2025: Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has started the Round 2 registration and choice filling for polytechnic counselling from July 9, 2025. Candidates who qualified in the JEECUP 2025 entrance exam and either didn’t get a seat in Round 1 or wish to upgrade their previous allotment can now participate in this round through the official portal: jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

Round 2 gives candidates another opportunity to secure admission in diploma courses offered by various government and private polytechnic institutes across Uttar Pradesh. The process is being conducted entirely online.

Candidates are advised to complete each step before the deadlines, as no extension will be granted.

Who Can Participate in Round 2?

Round 2 of JEECUP counselling is open to:

• Candidates who were not allotted any seat in Round 1

• Those who want to upgrade their allotted seat

• New applicants who cleared JEECUP 2025 and have not participated earlier

Note: Once a candidate accepts a seat in Round 2, the previously allotted seat (if any) will be automatically forfeited.

Documents Required for JEECUP Counselling

Candidates reporting to their allotted institutes must carry the following documents in original and two photocopies:

• JEECUP 2025 Admit Card

• JEECUP Rank Card

• Round 2 Seat Allotment Letter

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates

• Character Certificate

• Migration Certificate (if applicable)

• Reservation Certificate (if applicable)

• Domicile Certificate

• Two recent passport-size photographs

• Photocopies of all above documents

Only candidates with valid documents will be considered for final admission.

How to Fill Choices for JEECUP Round 2

Follow these steps to complete the choice filling process:

1. Visit the official website: jeecup.admissions.nic.in

2. Log in using your application number and password

3. Click on “Choice Filling for Round 2”

4. Select your preferred colleges and diploma courses

5. Lock and submit your choices before the deadline

Students should prioritise their selections based on seat availability and previous year cutoffs to improve their chances of allotment.

Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic Entrance Examination 2025 was conducted from June 5 to June 13, 2025, and the results were declared on June 23, 2025. Following the result announcement, the Round 1 registration for counselling concluded on July 2, 2025, and the seat allotment result for Round 1 was released on July 3, 2025.

Candidates are strongly urged to regularly check the official website for updates and instructions. Missing deadlines or incomplete document submission can lead to disqualification from the admission process.
