The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially announced the Class 12 results today, May 31, 2025. The results were declared through a press conference, after which the result link was activated on the official websites — jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jacresults.com. Students can now check their scores and download their marksheets online. The results are also available on DigiLocker for easy access.
Along with the individual results, JAC has released important data including the overall pass percentage, division-wise performance, and the merit list. These details provide a comprehensive overview of the academic performance across the state.
In the Science stream, a total of 98,634 students appeared for the exam, out of which 78,186 passed. The overall pass percentage stands at 79.26%. Among the successful candidates, 38,732 secured first division, 19,383 were placed in second division, 63 received third division, and 20 students were marked as just passed.
The Commerce stream has shown an even better performance, with 22,066 students appearing and 20,285 passing the examination. The overall pass percentage for Commerce is 91.2%. Division-wise, 12,829 students achieved first division, 7,234 secured second division, and 222 obtained third division.
The Class 12 board examinations were held from February 11 to March 4, 2025. Earlier, the Council had declared the Class 10 results on May 27, 2025. With today's release of Class 12 results, the evaluation process for both secondary and higher secondary classes has been completed.
To qualify, students must secure at least 23 out of 70 marks in each subject and a minimum of 33 out of 100 in aggregate. Those who did not pass in one or two subjects can apply for compartment exams. Improvement exams will also be conducted for students wishing to enhance their marks.
