Dr. Rihan Khan Suri, Vice Chancellor of Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University, congratulated Krishi Jagran on the success of the event and said that it is one of the first organizations to celebrate the Year of the Millets. Talking about his university he said, "Our university has been recently formed by the Delhi government two years back and our center of excellence is just a few months old. We are working with a UK University towards on-ground techniques, skills, and possibilities that we can develop to help the farmers."
He further added, "We are working towards many issues on upskilling and advancing the techniques provided to the farmers. We focus on both operational learning as well as advanced technologies."
A Mechanical Engineering Graduate with Post Graduation in Marketing management and a Ph.D. in Management with 24 years of experience out of which 13 years in academics and 11 years in Industry, Dr. Suri has headed a centralized university placement cell in the Professor's grade as Training and Placement Officer in Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University, Govt. of India), New Delhi for almost 10 years under the administrative control of Hon'ble Vice-chancellor through Registrar. He has also served Jamia Hamdard for 4 years in the grade of Reader (Associate Professor) as a Training and Placement officer.

‘Special Edition on Millets’ magazine was unveiled and a Discussion on Millets was conducted by Krishi Jagran at their headquarters in Delhi today. The conference saw the participation of some of the most influential delegates in the agriculture sector, from NITI Aayog and AARDO to FMC and NAFED. As one of the first events to kickstart the year of the millets, IYoM 2023 and its participants have successfully furthered the discussion on millets.
