Speaking at the event, Lena Johansson, President of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) congratulated Krishi Jagran for organizing a successful conference on Millets and said, “I congratulate Krishi Jagran on the successful launch of special edition magazines in 12 languages of India. We at IFAJ are very excited to celebrate the International Year of Millets 2023. We wish Krishi Jagran all the best for all future endeavors."
Lena Johansson made history when she was appointed as the first-ever female president of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ). She has been an agricultural journalist for 30 years and is currently the political editor-in-chief for Land Lantbruk, LRF Media, in Stockholm, Sweden.

Krishi Jagran today hosted a conference celebrating the international year of millets, at their headquarters in Delhi. Some of the most prestigious delegates in the agriculture industry, from NITI Aayog and AARDO to FMC and NAFED, attended the meeting. IYoM 2023 and its participants have effectively promoted the conversation on millets as one of the first events to kick off the year of the millets.
