Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is inviting online applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Research Scientist, and other posts. Interested candidates are advised to go through the below-mentioned details before applying.
This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill in a total of 34 vacancies of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Research Scientist (RS), Project Associate-I, and Project Scientist-I.
Scope: The NRSC provides a pleasant and technologically advanced workplace for qualified candidates to achieve personal and professional development while contributing to the cause of national development. Additionally, NRSC has a well-stocked library with access to many respected international journals and publications.
Selection Process: Meeting the minimum qualification requirement does not guarantee that candidates will be invited for an interview. An appointed Screening Committee will evaluate the applications received for the position and determine the eligibility criteria for shortlisting candidates based on the given requirements and other criteria deemed necessary.
Remuneration: Junior Research Fellows (JRF) will receive a monthly payment of ₹31,000, which can be increased to ₹35,000/- if they become Senior Research Fellows (SRF) after two years. The review committee will assess the JRF's research work for the previous two years before making this decision.
