Yogi was addressing after laying the foundation stone for a Rs 10.43 crore rural mini-stadium at Bholaram Maskara Inter College in Sahjanwa, Gorakhpur. A multi-sports complex, an athletics track, and an audience gallery will be included in the stadium.
Adityanath stated that investments in the Sahjanwa assembly constituency and other areas will allow youths to find work near their homes.
"The government will also distribute two crore tablets and smartphones to students in degree colleges across the state," he said. "In addition, several new technical and other institutes are being constructed to prepare the state's youth for the job market. A polytechnic institute will also be developed here. The Atal Residential School, which is being built here, will be inaugurated shortly," Adityanath remarked.
With the kind of growth taking place in the state and the potential of its youth, he believes Uttar Pradesh is on its path to become the country's number one state. Adityanath stated that the government is pursuing its development goal energetically while dealing harshly with anti-social elements harming the state's security.
"Businessmen and industrialists need the freedom and security to operate their companies and plants. Because, on the one hand, they support state growth while also providing jobs for the kids," he explained. Adityanath stated that the mini-stadium would foster sporting talent in the villages of Sahjanwa and Gorakhpur.
"In 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 'Khelo India' campaign. The tagline has now become a reality. India has won medals in both the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. Due to the commendable work of the UP Youth Welfare Department and the Basic Education Department, Uttar Pradesh is also winning medals in these mega sporting events," the chief minister added.
