India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has hailed the 3D-printed Post Office in Cambridge Layout, Bengaluru, as a clear indication of our country's advancement and creative accomplishments.

The architectural feat of the post office building was skillfully brought to life through the collaborative efforts of Larsen & Toubro Limited and the invaluable technical guidance provided by IIT Madras. In the display of innovation and determination, the entire construction journey culminated in a mere 45 days—a remarkable departure from the customary timeframe of six to eight months that traditional methods typically demand.

This remarkable achievement not only underscores the pioneering nature of 3D-concrete printing technology but also highlights its substantial advantages in terms of both cost-effectiveness and time efficiency when compared to conventional building practices.

The notion of India crafting its own 4G and 5G technology, along with the manufacturing of intricate telecom equipment, was previously unforeseen.
