Samosas are one of the most popular snacks in Indian cuisine for a lot of reasons. These little pockets are packed with a variety of fillings- which make them versatile and delicious.

Rarely will you see a busy Indian roadside, without a samosa stands on it. And now, samosas seem to have become a very lucrative career opportunity as well!

An Indian couple has stepped in to cater to the market demand, with ‘Samosa Singh’ their samosa franchise that earns up to 12 lakhs on a daily basis.

Nidhi Singh and Shikhar Veer Singh chose to leave their corporate professions and enter the samosa business after five years of marriage and prosperous careers. Using their own funds, the pair, who met while completing their biotechnology degrees, started Samosa Singh in 2016.

The couple's commitment and creative thinking paid off as their business expanded to eight cities and 50 cloud kitchens, selling 30,000 samosas each month with a turnover of Rs 45 crore, despite early uncertainties and difficulties.

They took risks along the way, selling their flat for Rs. 80 lakhs in order to expand their kitchen and expand their company. Nidhi was apprehensive to pursue a career as a "samosa wala," therefore she originally reacted skeptically to Shikhar's suggestion to sell samosas outside State Bank of India branches.

The couple did, however, succeed in creating a variety of samosa contents and a crispy outer layer via effort and trial.

Several people have been impressed by their stories, and online users have praised their zeal and commitment. The pair left behind well-paying occupations, but their determination and entrepreneurial spirit have paid off handsomely, demonstrating that no business is too small to be undertaken.

On their menu, they provide a creative selection of samosas, such as kadhai paneer samosas. The duo is now preparing to grow its company.
