India Post has invited applications for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) as Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) & Dak Sevak. A total of 1735 posts are available in Delhi Postal Circle, Jharkhand Postal Circle and Himachal Pradesh Postal Circle. Pay Scale
Applicants will be given a minimum TRCA for 4 Hours per Level 1 in TRCA Slab
BPM – Rs. 12,000-
ABPM or Dak Sevak - Rs. 10,000
Minimum TRCA for 5 Hours/Level 2 in TRCA Slab
BPM – Rs. 14,500-
ABPM or Dak Sevak - Rs. 12,000
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed Secondary School Examination with passing marks in Maths & English conducted by a recognized Board.
They should have studied the local language at least up to class 10th [as compulsory or elective subjects] as confirmed by the State Government or as per constitutional provisions relating to 8th schedule of Constitution of India.
Age Limit:
18 to 40 Years
Application Fee for Gramin Dak Sevak:
The candidates belonging to OC/OBC/EWS Male have to pay Rs. 100/-
There is no fee for Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Selection Procedure for India Post Recruitment 2019
Selection of applicants for all the above mentioned posts will be done on the basis of automatic generated merit list.
