Sabastian Dates, Communication Manager, International Dairy Federation and, Rafael Cornes, Master Nutritionist, Pan American Dairy Federation visited KJ Chaupal to interact with the Krishi Jagran team and members of Agriculture Journalist Association of India (AJAI) in New Delhi, India today.
Speaking on his experience on working for International Dairy Federation, Sabastian Dates recalled visiting many places all over the world and how differently the dairy sector works. Talking about the Dairy Sector in India, he said that the Indian dairy industry is very wide and rapidly growing day-by-day. He mentioned how the dairy sector is already huge in India and will grow further with time.
He also mentioned how International Dairy Federation (IDF) is taking new initiatives to help dairy farmers get access to the latest technological development and scientific innovations.
Addressing the young Agri Journalists of Krishi Jagran, Rafael said, "I am happy to see a team of young Agri Journalists and how passionate you are towards the agriculture sector. I urge you all, specially the youth, to become more aware of the importance of conscious and sustainable dairy farming.
He further added, "To strengthen ties with Indian farmers and Indian Agri Journalists to help countries like India, which is one of the largest milk producer in the world grow even further, basically become prominently stronger on the international platform."
Sabastian further added that IDF is looking forward to work together with Dairy Farmers communities from all around the world for building a global community for agriculture and dairy farmers.
M. C. Dominic expressed his gratitude towards the guests for today's session and is looking for more future collaborations with Krishi Jagran. COO of Krishi Jagran and the newly appointed DG of AJAI, Dr P K Pant then concluded the session with a vote of thanks.
