Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) conducts All India Entrance Examination (AIEEs) to shortlist aspirants for admission to undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programmes in agriculture and allied streams. This exam provides admission to 15% seats of undergraduate degree programmes at ICAR accredited Agriculture Universities and 25% seats each of Master’s and doctoral degree programmes at ICAR. There are 74 Agriculture Universities, 63 State Agriculture Universities and 3 Central Agriculture Universities.
The AIEEs are conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The online applications have started from 25th July, 2021
The applicants having passed 10+2 senior secondary or equivalent examinations of a recognized Indian Board/ University can apply for appearing in the examinations for admission to an undergraduate degree programme.
This exam provides admission to the below mentioned courses:

B.Sc (H) Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Forestry, Community Science, Food Nutrition and Dietics, Sericulture.

B.Tech. Agriculture Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Technology and Biotechnology.
The computer-based exam consists of 150 multiple choice questions with 600 marks for admission to undergraduate courses. On the basis of their merit rank, the candidates will be able to select the colleges of their choice. The undergraduate students, based upon prescribed criteria, shall be eligible to receive National Talent Scholarship (NTS) of Rs 3000 per month.

Documents required to fill ICAR AIEEA Application Form

Scanned passport size photo: Scanned copy is required with 3.5* 4.5 cm specification. The size must not be more than 200KB.

Scanned Image of Signature: Digital Signature is required to be attached in the application form in 3.5 * 1.5 cm and the file size should be between 4 kb – 200 kb.

Scanned image of thumb Impression (left for mail & Right for female) with 3.5* 1.5 cm specifications.

Steps for filling the Application form:
Step 1: Register on the official website of NTA. After successful registration, the candidates will have to fill the personal details in the application form. A system generated Application form will be sent to the candidates.
Step 2: Scanned images of the above-mentioned documents are to be submitted.
Be sure to adhere to the size specifications provided by NTA.
Step 3: Make Payments. The candidate will have to make required payment using credit card, debit card or net banking. They must use SBI/ Syndicate/ ICICI/ HDFC payment gateways or can even use the E-challans generated from the mentioned payment gateways.
Step 4: After all the procedure is over a confirmation page will pop up. The applicants can take the print out of this page.
