ICAR-NAARM Wins First Prize at International Agriculture, Horticulture and Organic Expo 2025

International Agriculture, Horticulture and Organic Expo 2025, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, brought together leading voices in the agri-sector. The three-day event saw participation from over 100 organisations, including major central and state government departments.

ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad has bagged the First Prize at the International Agriculture, Horticulture and Organic Expo 2025, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from June 21 to 23. The award was presented for the institution’s outstanding contributions in training, learning, and capacity building in the field of agriculture.

The award was conferred by Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and Road Transport & Highways, Harsh Malhotra, to scientists and officials from ICAR-NAARM. The recognition highlights NAARM’s continued excellence and leadership in agricultural education and development.

Led by Director Dr Gopal Lal, the ICAR-NAARM team at the expo was coordinated by Dr R. Venkatta Kumar, Principal Scientist and Head, Division of Extension Systems Management, along with Dr S. Siva Kumar, Principal Scientist, Research Systems Management Division. They were supported by Chief Technical Officers Shekhar Reddy and Dr Laxman Ahire.

At the event, ICAR-NAARM showcased a wide range of achievements, including its capacity building efforts, academic programmes, research and policy initiatives, and its agribusiness incubation services. The stall received a strong response from attendees, drawing attention to the Academy’s critical role in strengthening India’s agricultural ecosystem.

The three-day expo saw participation from over 100 organisations, including major central and state government departments engaged in agricultural growth and rural development.
