ICAR-Indian Institute of Soybean Research Conducts Training Session For Reserved Category

Diverse efforts are being made by the government at various levels in the field of employment for the reserved category. 

Taking forward this initiative, a three-day training session was organized by the ICAR-Indian Institute of Soybean Research, Indore from 29 August to 01 September on “Capacity Building on Reservation Roster for Administrative Employees”, in which various participants from various regions participated and enhanced their knowledge.

As a guest speaker and master trainer, I.B. Kumar, the chief administrative officer of the Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute in Avikanagar, Jaipur, participated in this interactive session.

For the smooth functioning of these policies in the institute, he trained on the creation of reservation lineups and the upkeep of reservation registers in accordance with the posts during this two-way interactive session. He also discussed public appointments under the Government of India's reservation policy.

He also instructed people through a demonstration session on how to calculate vacancies, make compassionate appointments, upgrade the institute's reservation roster, create rosters based on positions, and maintain an L-shape roster.

On the last day of the three-day training program, the participants expressed their appreciation for hosting the session, and Dr. Nita Khandekar, the institute's director, gave out certificates to the participants and asked the administration to plan other relevant hostings for the continued skill upgradation of the administrative staff.
