Essential qualification
Candidates must have completed graduation in relevant subjects or hold diploma in relevant subjects - Agriculture Sciences or Engineering or Technology. It must be noted that the term "Agricultural Sciences” includes all agriculture as well as allied sciences. i.e., Horticulture Science, Crop Science, NRM related disciplines, Veterinary Sciences, Animal Science, Fisheries Sciences, Agriculture Engineering, Agriculture Extension and Agriculture Education etc.
Desirable qualification
Those with a post Graduate degree in Agricultural Sciences and experience in field demonstration, data collection, Computer Knowledge would be preferred.
Emoluments/Salary of ICAR Young Professional-I
They will get a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 25000. It must be noted that no House Rent Allowance (HRA) would be paid to the YPs.
Age Limit
The minimum age of the young professional should be 21 years and maximum 45 years. The relaxation in upper age limit would be given as per Centre to SC/ST/OBC/PwD & women candidates.
Selection Criteria
The candidates would be shortlisted according to merit & experience in relevant field.
How to Apply
Candidates will have to fill in a google form by 26 December, 2022.
After verification, eligible candidates will be called for an interview on the scheduled dates that will be uploaded on ICAR-IISR website or will be informed via email.
Shortlisted applicants will have to bring a copy of completely filled in application form with recent passport size photo duly signed along with self-attested copies of the original docs of qualifications/experience at the time of interview.
They will have to submit all the original documents, medical and Character certificate at the time of joining.

Appointment will be depend upon the performance & fund availability.
Applicants having more than 1 eligible qualification will have to select only 1 for selection process.
