The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for the CA Foundation exam held in December 2023. As of February 7, candidates can access their ICAI CA Foundation Dec 2023 Results on the official ICAI website, icai.nic.in or icai.org.
Originally scheduled from December 24 to December 30, 2023, the exam was rescheduled and conducted offline between December 31, 2023, and January 6, 2024. To view their results, candidates must log in to the ICAI website using their registration number and roll number.

Click on the 'Foundation Examination: December 2023' link on the homepage.

Enter your login credentials on the new window that appears.

Your CA Foundation Scorecard 2023 will be visible on the screen.

Download and print the scorecard for future reference.
The results include the candidate's total score, rank, and grades in each subject. The pass percentage and the list of CA Foundation toppers have also been published. Following the release of the results, ICAI will open the revaluation and verification window for candidates shortly.
To pass the CA Foundation exam, candidates must secure a minimum of 40% in each paper and a combined total of 50 marks across all four papers. It's important to note that the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, prohibit score improvement in the CA Foundation test. Once candidates have successfully cleared the exam, they are not permitted to retake it.
Eligible candidates for the Direct Entry Route comprise commerce graduates/post-graduates with a minimum of 55% marks, and other graduates/post-graduates with at least 60% marks. Additionally, individuals who have cleared the Intermediate level examination conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) are also eligible for direct admission to the CA Intermediate course.
