A Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) investigation report has recently exposed that the honey sold by some of the major Indian brands like Patanjali and Dabur is adulterated. According to CSE, these brands of honey are from China as well as manufactured in India.
Honey is known for its health benefits and nutrients. It is mainly packed with anti oxidants and antibacterial properties while it's free from fats and cholesterol.
On the contrary, adulterated honey can have a long-term negative impact on human health. It can induce obesity or increase blood glucose levels, says research reports.

*Pour some water into a glass.
*To this, add a few drops of honey.
*If the honey entirely settles at the bottom, it is not adulterated. If the honey disperses in the water, it is.
