There are several ways by which you can link your Aadhaar number to your LPG connection.
To link your Aadhar to your LPG connection, you just have to make a call or send an IVRS or simply an SMS. About 80 percent of the households in the country use LPG connections and that’s primarily because these LPG connections are subsidized by the government. How to Avail LPG Subsidy
To avail of the benefits of the LPG subsidy, it is mandatory to link Aadhaar with an LPG connection. To link your Aadhar card with LPG connection and avail LPG subsidy, follow the instructions given below:
Step 1: First you go to the official website and enter the required information.
Step 2: Select your benefit type as "LPG" as you want to connect your Aadhaar card to the LPG connection. Now mention the name of the scheme as per your LPG connection, for instance, "BPCL" for Bharat Gas connection and "IOCL" for Indane connection.
Step 3: Now select the distributor name from the list given.
Step 4: Enter your LPG consumer number.
Step 5: Fill your mobile number, email address, and Aadhaar number before clicking on the "Submit" icon.
Step 6: Just as you click on ‘submit’, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number and email id.
Step 7: Enter and submit it to complete this technical process.
Step 8: After your request is registered, the information given here will be verified by the officer.
Step 9: After the details are verified, a notification will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.
