“It’s high time we should focus on young and upcoming farmers, especially all those who have lately started working in the fields. Young farmers should be made aware of the right techniques so that they feel motivated to continue working in agriculture," says 25-year-old Neeraj Prajapati, who’s on the mission to ride a bicycle for 111,111 km, across the country to spread awareness about organic farming and the problems of applying pesticides to crops.
"I am about to cross the 45,000 km mark", said Neeraj while speaking to the team at Krishi Jagran.
MC Dominic, the founder of Krishi Jagran & Agriculture World welcomed him and presented him with a souvenir, a green plant, and ensured that “We have been covering his journey and wish him all the best. We are always there to support such acts of dedication to spread awareness in agriculture.”
