Speaking about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “This year when we are making Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, let us strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement. Hoist the Tricolor or display it in your homes between 13th and 15th August. This movement will deepen our connection with the National Flag.”
Krishi Jagran participated in the initiative to do the National Flag Hoisting today i.e., 13th August, in order to follow the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. MC Dominic, Founder of Krishi Jagran, and Shiny Dominic, Director, along with the Krishi Jagran Team were present at the headquarters of Krishi Jagran in Delhi for the same.

Recalling the long-run tradition of Flag hoisting on Independence Day, Somani said, “Both Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations have three distinctive differences. The first one is that on Independence Day we hoist our national flag while on Republic Day we unfurl it. Another difference is that on Independence Day the flag is hoisted by the prime minister of the country and on Republic Day it is unfurled by the President of India.
