From Kartavya Path, President Droupadi Murmu led the country in celebrating the 74th Republic Day, with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi serving as the parade's chief guest.
The iconic freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose was born on January 23, which is now recognized as Parakram Diwas. The weeklong festivities will culminate on January 30, which is recognized as Martyrs' Day.
According to the ministry of defense, the Republic Day parade was a special blend of India's military power and cultural variety, portraying the nation's expanding indigenous capabilities, Nari Shakti, and the development of a "New India." The parade on the Kartavya Path had a total of 23 tableaux, including 17 from states and union territories and six from other ministries and departments, all of which showcased India's rich cultural legacy, economic development, and social advancement.

The redesigned Kartavya Path was lined with vibrant tableaux from Assam, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gujarat, West Bengal, and several more states and Union Territories, with "Nari Shakti" serving as the theme for the majority of the floats.

Breath-taking air show over Kartavya Path
The Fly Past, the parade's big finale and the most anticipated part, featured an incredible air show by 45 Indian Air Force aircraft, one from the Indian Navy, and four Indian Army helicopters.
Parade at Kartavya Path ended with national anthem
The national anthem concluded the Republic Day parade at Kartavaya Path. However, the festivities will go on and conclude on January 30, also known as Martyrs' Day. President Droupadi Murmu and Chief Guest of the Republic Day Parade, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, went to Rashtrapati Bhavan while being escorted by the President's Bodyguard.
