Life Story of Lord Hanuman

Lord Hanuman, also called Bajrangbali or Maruti, was born to Anjana, a female spirit who had taken the form of a monkey, and Kesari, the monkey king. His birth was blessed by the wind god Vayu, which is why Hanuman is also known as Pawan Putra (son of the wind).

From a young age, Hanuman showed great powers. But his life changed when he met Lord Rama, the prince of Ayodhya and the seventh form of Lord Vishnu. Hanuman became Lord Rama’s most loyal follower.

One of the most famous stories from the Ramayana is when Hanuman flew across the ocean to find Sita, Lord Rama’s wife, who had been taken by the demon king Ravana. He later fought bravely in the war and even carried a whole mountain to bring a healing herb to save Lord Rama’s brother, Lakshmana.

Because of these acts, Hanuman is worshipped as the god of strength, protection, and devotion.

Hanuman Jayanti 2025 is a perfect time to feel closer to your faith, family, and community. As people sing bhajans, fast, and read the Hanuman Chalisa, they pray for good health, happiness, and strength to face life’s problems. May Lord Hanuman bless everyone with power, peace, and protection!
