The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) has invited applications for setting up Cold Chain projects under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY). Through an Expression of Interest (EoI) dated May 27, 2025, the Ministry is seeking proposals from eligible entrepreneurs across the country to establish cold chain and value addition infrastructure.
These projects aim to minimize post-harvest losses, improve storage facilities, and strengthen the farm-to-market supply chain, thereby ensuring better income for farmers and improved quality for consumers.
Interested applicants must submit their proposals online via the official portal sampada-mofpi.gov.in. The submission window will remain open from 11:00 am on May 28, 2025, to 5:00 pm on July 26, 2025.
As per the revised operational guidelines released on May 22, 2025, all proposals must be in line with the updated scheme requirements. No physical or offline submissions will be accepted under any circumstances.
Applicants are also required to include a non-refundable application fee through a Demand Draft in favour of the Pay & Accounts Officer, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, New Delhi. A scanned copy of the draft must be uploaded with the application, while the original must reach the Ministry within one week of the application deadline.
To assist potential applicants, a pre-bid meeting is scheduled on June 9, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Ministry’s office in Panchsheel Bhawan, New Delhi. For more information and detailed guidelines, entrepreneurs can visit the official website www.mofpi.gov.in
