Goverdhan S.Rawat is a Graduate in Agriculture & Animal Husbandry, CAIIB, and Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance. He is currently serving as General Manager, Human Resource Management Department of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) at Head Office, Mumbai.
On September 21, 1992, he joined NABARD as an officer and served in different capacities in Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and the NABARD head office located in Mumbai. He had a stint as Faculty Member in Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD) and National Bank Staff College, Lucknow served as Nominee Director on the Boards of Pithoragarh Khetriya Gramin Bank.
He has great experience in the field of Project appraisal, Infrastructure Financing, District Credit Planning, Rural Development, consultancy, Board Secretaries and HR besides experience of Faculty and guest faculty in Training institutions of various banks.
