The state government of Uttar Pradesh is preparing to start the recruitment process for 74,000 posts in various state departments. For that, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the state's selection boards and recruitment commissions to begin the process of filling the vacant positions as soon as possible.
Adityanath met with the chairpersons of the State Public Service Commission, the UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), the UP Higher Education Selection Commission, and the UP Secondary Education Service Selection Board at the CM's residence and inquired about the work profile of the recruitments for a variety of positions. The meeting was attended by the chairmen of all of the state's commissions, as well as a number of senior officers.
In Uttar Pradesh, there are now 30,000 vacancies in the Subordinate Services Selection Commission, 17,000 vacancies in the Higher Education Selection Commission, and 27,000 vacancies in the Secondary Education Service Selection Board. In addition, roughly 30,000 vacancies in Group C will be filled. The UPSSSC's Preliminary Eligibility Test is scheduled for August 20.
CM Yogi Adityanath has advised the chairmen of the state commissions that there should be complete openness in the conduct of these competitive exams. He further stated that schools where previous incidents of cheating have been documented will not be designated as examination centers this time. The chief minister stated that the Covid-19 protocols must be properly followed when performing the examinations.

- Exams would be administered in accordance with COVID regulations.
