This growth rate falls just shy of half the projected output growth, indicating a significant reduction in the carbon intensity of agricultural production. The report highlights that the livestock sector is expected to account for a staggering 86% of the overall increase in emissions. The OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook 2023-2032, the cornerstone of global agricultural commodity market projections, provides valuable insights into the medium-term prospects of the sector. The report offers comprehensive decadal projections for various commodities including cereals, vegetable oils, dairy products, meat, sugar, fish, cotton, tropical fruits, pulses, and agricultural output used for biofuels.
