Narendra Singh, former agriculture minister of Bihar and one of the prominent political personalities to emerge from the state's "JP movement" in the 1970s, died on Monday in Patna after a long illness. He was 75 years old.
According to Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar and leader of the Janata Dal, Narendra Singh will be cremated with full state honors (United).
Narendra Singh was a lifelong acquaintance of Nitish Kumar and was considered a fiery young leader during the JP movement.
