The final process of placement for Post Graduate Programme in Food and Agribusiness Management, Batch of 2019 at IIM Ahmedabad concluded with all 45 students securing placements.
The batch explored opportunities in a diverse set of industries within the food, agribusiness and allied sectors and a total of 30 companies participated at the final placements, ranging from sectors as FMCG, Agri Inputs and Services, Food Processing and Supply Chain, Food and Agribusiness PE-VC, Food and Agri Consulting, Agri Commodity Trading, e-Commerce, and Retail, said a statement from IIMA.
Firms such as Godrej Agrovet, PI Industries, Jain Irrigation, Pioneering Ventures, Ninjacart and Waycool extended 3 offers each. The first time recruiters included Ernst and Young (EY) RBL Bank and Reliance Foundation.
The two-year Post-Graduate Programme in Food and Agri-Business Management (PGP-FABM), offered by the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad, has been ranked as the best in the the world for three consecutive years by Eduniversal, Paris, France.
125000+ students apply for the programme and only 46 students are selected from all across India. PGP-FABM is a residential two-year full-time sector-specific programme designed to meet the diverse demands of agribusiness, food and allied sectors through specialized managerial talent.
