The Centre for Sustainability, Environment, and Climate Change (CSECC) at FLAME University, in partnership with the International Union of Biological Sciences (IUBS) based in Paris, aims to provide accessible high-quality climate change education to all through the TROP ICSU project (Trans-disciplinary Research Oriented Pedagogy for Improving Climate Studies and Understanding).
The TROP ICSU project, an ambitious initiative by IUBS, aims to integrate critical climate change resources into the global education system, empowering future generations with the knowledge and skills necessary to address this urgent global issue. These resources are designed with culturally appropriate pedagogy, ensuring accessibility and relevance for educators globally, and fostering climate awareness through a locally rooted yet globally pertinent approach.
FLAME University's CSECC has conducted numerous TROP ICSU workshops, reaching a wide audience and promoting environmental awareness and education through these comprehensive resources.
