Our planet is an amazing place, but it requires our help to thrive! That's why, every year on April 22, we celebrate Earth Day. The first Earth Day was held in 1970 with the goal of raising awareness about current environmental issues. By 1990, Earth Day became a global event celebrated by over 140 countries.
More than a billion people now celebrate Earth Day to protect the planet from pollution, deforestation, global warming, and other issues. We can make our world a happier, healthier place to live by participating in activities such as litter picking, spreading awareness among society, industrialists, and farmers about sustainable agriculture, and planting trees.
At present, regenerative agriculture is playing an important role in making the world a healthier place, and it provides solutions to transform farmers into environmental and societal heroes. Regenerative agriculture is a holistic land management practice that uses photosynthesis in plants to close the carbon cycle while also improving soil health, crop resilience, and nutrient density.
