Finding your UAN: A detailed guide
Owners of EPF accounts will receive a 12-digit number called a UAN from the Workers' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). The employee's UAN will remain the same notwithstanding the change of organizations and title. Using their UAN, members can access all of EPFO's online services, including e-nomination and EPF balance checks.
Step 1: Go to the EPFO Member e-SEWA website.
Step 2: On the login page, scroll down and click on ‘Know your UAN’ under ‘Important Links’. You will find this listed in the right bottom corner.
Step 3: Your EPF account will have a mobile number linked to it. Enter that and the captcha.
Step 4: Following that, enter the OTP in your phone and then click ‘Validate OTP & get UAN’.
Step 5: You will be notified with the UAN number.
