The center has launched e-Shram portal for the people working in the unorganized sector, which will be linked with their Aadhaar Cards. According to Ministry of Labour & employment this card will help government build a National database of Unorganized Workers.
It will have details such as Name, Occupation, Address, Educational qualification, skill types and family details etc. for optimum realization of their employability and extend the benefits of the social security schemes to them.
It is the first ever national database of unorganized workers including migrant workers, construction workers, gig & platform workers etc.
e-Shram Registration: Documents Required
The workers are required to have three essential documents for registration, the workers must have:

Aadhaar Card

Aadhaar Connected Mobile number

A bank account details (in order to register for the e shram portal)
There are going to be no income criteria for registering on e-Shram as an unorganized worker; the person should not be an income tax payee, the workers can also register through e–Shram online portal.
The details of bank are being required to ensure hassle free transfer of benefits under social security schemes or if there are any benefits that are being provided by the state or central government directly to the account of the worker.
How Can Workers Update Photo on e-Shram Portal?
The photo that is reflected on e-Shram card is fetched from Aadhaar Card. And there is no provision to update photo on e-shram portal as such. However, if you wish to get the photo changed on your e-Shram Card, you can update the same on your Aadhaar card as the same will be used on e Shram Card.
How to Change Photo on your Aadhaar Card?

Log on to Official UIDAI website.

Download the Aadhaar enrollment form

Fill the form with the required details

Go to an Aadhaar Enrollment center close to you

Submit the form with an Aadhaar enrolment executive

Get your details verified through biometric verification

Get a new official photograph captured at the Aadhaar Sewa Kendra

Pay the fee to get your get your photograph updated (Rs 25 + GST)

Receive acknowledgement slip that shows your update request number (URN).

You can use this URN to check the status of the official photograph update request on the UIDAI website

Download an Adhaar Card e copy with the new official photograph

Apply on the UIDAI website to request for a new physical PVC Adhaar card.
