e-Shram Portal: How to Register and Download E-Shram Card

Here is a good news for rural community. Organized worker and labor now can apply and download e-Shram card by registering on the portal of e-Shram. The e-shram card, launched by the Ministry of Labor and Employment provides many benefits for unorganized workers registering on e-Shram portal.

Here is a good news for rural community. Organized worker and labor now can apply and download e-Shram card by registering on the portal of e-Shram. The e-shram card, launched by the Ministry of Labor and Employment provides many benefits for unorganized workers registering on e-Shram portal. 

Ministry of Labor tweeted, “Register today on http://eshram.gov.in & download your e-SHRAM Card. This Card is valid across the country”. The e-Shram portal's registration process is completely free. 

Apply online at e-Shram portal? 

  • Unorganized workers would need Aadhaar number, Aadhaar connected active mobile number, and bank account data to register on the e-Shram portal for e-Shram Card online application and download.

  • The age range should be 16 to 59 years old.

  • To learn more, go to https://eshram.gov.in/.

  • Go to the "Register on e-Shram" section after landing on the e-Shram portal home page.

  • Once you've reached at the separate page, proceed to the "Self Registration" section.

  • You must enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number as well as a captcha.

  • Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) and Employees' State Insurance Corporation both require a NO vote (ESIC).

  • After that, select OTP to receive an OTP to your Aadhaar-linked cellphone number.

  • You will obtain an e shram card once you have registered on the e shram portal. 

 What are the benefits of e-Shram card? 

  • After registering on the e-Shram portal, you will receive an e-Shram card, which will be accepted all around the country.

  • The Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana(PMSBY) would provide unorganized workers with a year's worth of accidental insurance. 

  • In the event of an accidental death or permanent disability, a sum of Rs.2 lakh would be paid out. 

  • If you're partially disabled, you'll get Rs.1 lakh.

  • The e-Shram platform will, in particular, transmit Social Security benefits.
