e-Shram card is a Unique Identification Number Card, which is issued by the Ministry of Labor and Employment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this initiative for workers and laborers in the unorganized sector.
e Shram Card offers various benefits for those working in the unorganized sectors by registering on the e-Shram Portal. Such workers can easily register themselves on the official e-Shram Portal and avail the benefits of this card. This Card is valid for a lifetime & all across the country.
Benefits of e-Shram Card:

Unorganized workers will get accidental insurance coverage through the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) for a year.

Rs 2 lakh will be provided in case of accidental death & permanent disability.

Rs 1 lakh will be provided in case of partial disability.

Unorganized Workers can avail of the assistance of the Central & State government during calamities or pandemics.

Age Limit:
The Age should be between 16-59 years.
How to get registered at e-Shram Portal?

Go to register.eshram.gov.in and fill out the registration form.

Enter the Aadhar number from your Aadhar card.

Provide the phone number mentioned in your Aadhar card and enter the captcha code.

Enter the OTP and proceed to the next stage.
How to Download e-Shram Card?

First of all, you have to open the web Portal.

Add your log-in Details.

Your Dashboard will open up now.

If the status is approved then in some time you will get the link for downloading the e-Shram card.
