
Durgesh Chandra Sharma, Secretary General of CropLife India, visited Krishi Jagran office in New Delhi on October 07, 2025. During his address, Sharma elaborated on the role of CropLife India in the field of crop protection. He also discussed the emerging significance of biostimulants and underlined the substantial annual losses faced by farmers due to pest attacks, reinforcing the vital role of crop protection products in ensuring food security, productivity, and sustainability.
Sharma reiterated CropLife India’s commitment to promoting safe, sustainable, and science-based agricultural practices that empower farmers and support India’s long-term food and environmental goals.
