Dr. Rajaram Tripathi, the pride of Bastar, a successful farmer and Brand Ambassador of Krishi Jagran's Millionaire Farmer of India Awards (MFOI), paid a special visit to the headquarters of Krishi Jagran in New Delhi today, July 28, 2025, ahead of his upcoming visit to Russia. Recognized for his tireless contributions to organic and sustainable farming, Dr. Tripathi received a warm welcome from Krishi Jagran team and the Agriculture Journalist Association of India (AJAI).
On this occasion, Krishi Jagran’s Founder & Editor-in-Chief, M.C. Dominic, honored Dr. Tripathi by presenting a plant as a symbol of sustainable growth and prosperity. The entire team extended their best wishes for his Russia visit.
Dr. Tripathi is scheduled for a historic tour of Russia from July 29 to August 7, 2025. Grand preparations are underway to welcome him by Russia's prestigious institution, the International Business Alliance (IBA), Moscow.
According to a formal invitation letter sent by the President of IBA, Dr. Tripathi has been respectfully invited to participate in a special high-level meeting aimed at expanding India-Russia cooperation in the agricultural sector. During this visit, Dr. Tripathi will engage with leading agricultural experts, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders in the organic farming industry in Russia to strategize for mutual collaboration.
This prestigious invitation is a testament to the growing international appreciation of India’s achievements in sustainable agriculture, Ayurvedic products, and organic exports. Dr. Tripathi’s journey, from the remote region of Bastar to the global agricultural stage, is poised to open new avenues not only for India but also for Russia’s agri-sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Tripathi remarked, “Agriculture has always been the soul of India, it’s the foundation that brought us prosperity and respect. Today, by combining scientific thinking with traditional knowledge and innovation, India can not only achieve self-reliance but also emerge as a global leader in agriculture.”

The upcoming meetings with top Russian agricultural experts and entrepreneurs in Moscow and St. Petersburg, organized with the special initiative of Krishi Jagran, are expected to pave the way for new partnerships in sustainable farming, organic herbal exports, and agri-innovation.
It is worth noting that Dr. Tripathi, born in the underdeveloped region of Bastar, is today one of the most respected voices in Indian agriculture on the international platform. He is the founder of Maa Danteshwari Herbal Farm, India’s first internationally certified organic herbal farm. He has introduced revolutionary changes in agricultural production, including the development of the world-class black pepper variety MDBP-16. His farm is also globally recognized for its excellence in the cultivation and quality of white musli.
Just a few months ago, Dr. Tripathi was invited by the Brazilian government for an agricultural tour. Now, the honor bestowed upon him by Russia adds another proud chapter to his remarkable journey, especially for India and the region of Bastar. His innovations in bitter-free Stevia, research in Ayurvedic products, and repeated recognition by Agriculture Ministers, having been honored seven times at the national level, cement his position as one of the country’s most respected and visionary farmer leaders.
Dr. Tripathi’s Russia visit will not only further strengthen India-Russia agricultural ties but will also prominently showcase the rich agricultural heritage of Chhattisgarh and the soil of Bastar on the global map.
Krishi Jagran extends its heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Rajaram Tripathi for this historic and impactful journey.
