Dr Krishnaveni started MahaLearning in 2009, which specializes in online content and assessment series for school-based curriculum. Her vision is to make education accessible anytime, anywhere, and at affordable costs for students. She has also initiated various programs, including disability film festivals, annual prize-giving functions, and workshops for students and teachers. Dr Krishnaveni's contribution to the field of education was recognized when she was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2017 by Universal Press Media Education Vidyapith.
As someone who has actively organized award functions and programs aimed at motivating students and teachers, she was asked about the key factors that drive students to excel in their academic pursuits. As a Womenovator and influencer in Tamil Nadu, Chennai, she has had the privilege of working with and learning from many successful women entrepreneurs. As an academician, she has always been fascinated by the worlds of mathematics and science. With over 10 years of experience in training students for various international board exams such as IGCSE O Levels and A Levels, SAT exams, and CBSE, she has witnessed the evolution of these exams and the changes in student learning over the years. Today, students have the flexibility to learn in both offline and online modes, and it is no longer necessary to stick to traditional methods of learning.
She expressed that identifying the need for her platform, MahaLearning was crucial in providing students with access to quality education regardless of their location or economic background. However, setting up the company came with its fair share of challenges, as is the case with any other start-up.
