Dr Dinesh Kumar Chauhan has been appointed as a member of the Board of Studies at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences - School of Vocational Studies, Mumbai.
The Board of Studies at Tata Institute of Social Sciences advises the School about its goals and objectives, related activities, and future plans for furthering the vocational education programs.
He holds a vast experience of 22 years in the agriculture and agribusiness sector, including roles in academics, consulting, sales, and business development at senior management levels.
He would be advising the institution based on his area of expertise which lies in farm solutions, large-scale modern farming, supply chain management, business development, and structured trade finance.
Currently, he holds the position of Vice President at DeHaat, India's largest full-stack Agri-Tech platform offering end-to-end solutions to more than 17 Lakh farmers across India. He has worked with cross-cultural teams in India, the US, Australia, Israel, Africa, China, Norway, the Middle East, and South Asia, and has experience in developing farm solutions, farm consulting, business planning, and agro technical support for various crops.
