Dr. CH. Srinivasa Rao, a distinguished scientist and leader in Indian agricultural research, has been appointed as the Director of the ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi. Known for his expertise in soil science, natural resource management, and sustainable agriculture, Dr. Rao’s career spans several decades of impactful contributions to the sector.

Before joining IARI, Dr. Rao served as the Director of the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad, and the Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA).
