Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, passed by voice vote The Election Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2021 that enables “the linking of electoral roll data with the Aadhaar ecosystem” as the Opposition walked out in protest. The Bill was passed by Lok Sabha a day before.
Citizens should be aware that they can link their Aadhar Card with Voter ID by visiting booth level officers in their region or utilizing the national voter service web, SMS, or phone.
How to Link Voter Id with Aadhar on National Voter Service Portal?

Visit the National Voter Service Portal's official website.

Enter your Mobile Number, Email Address, Voter ID Number & Password to access the portal.

Fill in your State, District & Personal Information.

Move your cursor to the left side of the screen & select the 'Feed Aadhar No' option.

On a pop-up screen, Enter Your Name, Aadhar Number, Voter ID Number, Registered Mobile Number, and/or Registered Email Address as they appear on your Aadhar card.

Check all of the information you've entered & submitted.

Finally, a message will appear on your screen confirming that your Aadhar number has been successfully linked to your Voter ID number.
How to Link Voter ID with Aadhar Card by Booth Level Officers?

Fill out an application & send it to the booth level office closest to you.

The booth officer will double-check the information you've provided & visit you for further verification.

The details will be recorded and your Aadhar card will be successfully linked to your voter ID whenever he or she is satisfied.
You can also use a simple SMS to link your Aadhar to your voter ID card. Simply send a text message from your registered cell phone number to 166 or 51969 and follow the instructions.
Citizens should be aware that they can link their Aadhar to their voter ID by phone. Simply dial 1950 on weekdays between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to reach the call center.
